Exemplary Case

BASF from Germany is one of the largest chemical companies in the world with a history of more than 150 years. It has about 120,000 employees worldwide and over 350 plants and companies in 39 countries including Germany, the US and Japan. In 2019, it ranked 115th in the list of Fortune Global 500. As far as BASF is concerned, investing in DPEDZ brings them closer to potential customers in Shanghai, gives them advantages brought by the integration of BASF-SPC, and effectively reduces corporate costs. In addition, the efficient and pragmatic government service of the area is also an important reason why BASF decided to build a plant in DPEDZ. BASF’s products will be extensively used in multiple industrial fields after the plant is put into operation. This will create a very strong stimulus for structural adjustment, transformation, upgrade and sustainable development of the chemical industry in Zhejiang Province.

New Energy

  • Wind Power Generation & Equipment
  • Hydrogen Industry

The largest offshore wind power project under construction in Zhejiang Province - Zhejiang Energy Jiaxing No. 1 Offshore Wind Farm, is located just off the coast of Pinghu Dushan Port in Hangzhou Bay.
