Innovation Events
Connecting innovators and fostering collaborations drives us as we organize our Innovation Events. We bring together startups, SMEs, and large corporations to discuss the latest technology trends, network, and improve the innovation community in China's major cities.
Our focus is on three main event formats throughout the year. Firstly, the Innovation Dialogue combines inspiring keynote speeches with engaging panel discussions to analyze further the challenges and opportunities for innovation in China based on our AHK Innovation Survey results. Secondly, at the Ignite Events, we emphasize knowledge sharing and hands-on practical experiences over two hours. Members can learn from each other about how they innovate in China, what methods and tools they use, and how to improve their innovation capabilities in China. Thirdly, during the Innovation Night, we host lively Startup Pitching events that inspire new innovators to introduce their solutions, find strategic partners, and connect with the German business community in China.

Successful kick-off of the Innovation Dialogue event series in Guangzhou
On March 3, the German Chamber of Commerce of China came together with over 150 guests and partners from the Greater Bay Area to discuss key insights from the first “Innovation Survey” published in 2022 and took a deep dive into practical innovation strategies. One of the highlights of the event was the panel discussion on successful “Open Innovation” with first-hand insights from Herrenknecht and HyperPark on how they created an innovative solution for China's limited parking spaces.
