Yingtan High-tech Industrial Development Zone

The Yingtan National High-tech Industrial Development Zone is located in the southwest of Yingtan. It covers an area of 43 square kilometers, of which 28 square kilometers being designated for development. There are more than 600 enterprises, including more than 300 industrial enterprises that employ more than 15,000 industrial workers. Its predecessor, Yingtan Industrial Park, was established in June 2001, designated as a provincial industrial park in March 2006, and upgraded to a national high-tech industrial development zone in August 2012. 

The high-tech zone is a national 03 special pilot demonstration base, a national circular transformation demonstration pilot park, a national new industrialization industry demonstration base, and a national urban and rural integration development pilot zone. It is among the first top ten business environment industrial parks in Jiangxi Province. It has established a development model that prioritizes the "electronic information industry based on the Internet of things" as its primary sector, while also focusing on the copper-based new materials and big health industries. 

In 2022, the high-tech zone's industrial revenue hit RMB 102.3 billion, advancing its rank to 88th in the comprehensive evaluation of national high-tech zones, one higher than last year. Among the nine high-tech zones in the province, it rose from fifth to third place, a significant improvement for two consecutive years. 

The high-tech zone boasts a strong industrial atmosphere, a top science and innovation platform, a high-end bearing base, and a first-class business environment. The national independent innovation demonstration zone, the national 03 major project, the national network security "high precision" technology innovation pilot, the national double and innovation carrier and other strategies provide significant "national impetus". The provincial Party Committee and provincial government pooled superior resources and strengthened the six-dimensional guarantee of the coordinated operation mechanism of the ministry and the province, the expert guidance and promotion mechanism, support policies, funds, talent introduction and open cooperation. Yingtan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have developed five major policies and measures: fixed asset investment, tax incentives, production factors, scientific and technological innovation, and promotion and application. The high-tech zone has also launched a range of factor guarantee policies such as financial services, industrial funds, equity investment, innovation vouchers, copper deposit finance, and talent introduction.
