Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone
Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (National) is located on the western side of Ganzhou, with 6 townships, a Comprehensive Bonded Zone and a High-speed Rail New District under its administration. The total population is 380,000. In 2022, it was ranked 31st in the Comprehensive Evaluation of National Economic and Technological Development Zone, and 6th in the central region.
Complete industrial chain and solid industrial base. We have built a “N+” industry of key and core technology in new energy and new energy automotive industry, electronic industry, rare earth and tungsten back-end applications, rare earth permanent magnet motors, new materials, digital economy and blockchain, which brought together more than 1,300 industrial enterprises and 319 industrial enterprises above designated size. Among them, there are more than 120 enterprises in the new energy and new energy automotive industry with an annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles, and 266 related enterprises in the electronic industry.
Motivated scientific and technological innovation. We have 87 R&D and testing institutions at the national and provincial levels, 30 science and technology enterprise cultivating platforms above the provincial level and 218 high-tech enterprises. We have nurtured 100 specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products, "little giants" and " single champion" above the provincial level, established 10 academician workstations, Haizhi Project workstations, and postdoctoral research workstations.
Rich human resources and advantageous business cost. We have abundant labor resources with 5,280,000 available workers, 120,000 college students, and 250,000 secondary and vocational school students. The business cost is relatively low. The price of industrial land is RMB 90,700/mu (≈666.667 square meter)，the price of industrial electricity is RMB 0.68/kWh, the price of industrial water is RMB 2.18/ton, the price of natural gas is RMB 4/cubic meter, and the minimum wage standard is RMB 1,730/month.
Convenient and healthy city-industry integration. We have developed three major industrial undertaking platforms, which are Ganzhou New Energy Technology City, Ganzhou Modern Electronic Technology City, and Ganzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, which house 10,000,000-square meter industrial standard plants and 300,000-square meter logistics sharing warehouses. We have an international airport, high-speed railway station, high-speed entrance and exit, elevated expressway, and highway port. It is the transportation junction of Jiangxi, Guangdong, Fujian and Hunan provinces, located directly within the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta. It only takes 1.5 hours from Shenzhen to Ganzhou.
Pleasant business environment. We are the first in Jiangxi Province to create a "Certificate Free" business environment which eliminates the need for meetings to open bids and access 112 pro-enterprise policies to the "Intimate-Honest and Upright Jiangxi Province Business" online platform. We benefit from the policies and measures concerning large-scale development of the western region, have introduced and implemented a package of policies such as the "36 measures" to assist enterprises and the "36 measures" to stabilize the economy.
