Central Location
German trade fairs take exhibitors and visitors to the centre of the European Union. The European single market is the largest single market in the industrialized world, with some 500 million consumers and an economic output of around 11.5 trillion euros. Thanks to excellent flight connections and the best transport infrastructure, trade fairs in Germany are easily accessible from all economic centres, inside and outside Europe.
State-of-the-art Exhibition Centres
Germany has 25 trade fair centres of international or national importance. Their combined hall space amounts to 2.8 million square meters. In terms of architecture, logistics and technology, the German exhibition centres are well positioned by international comparison. German trade fair companies invest around 300 million euros a year in order to optimize their sites.
Four of the world's eight largest exhibition centres are located in Germany, and ten of the German exhibition centres have a hall capacity of more than 100,000 square meters. In addition, there are regional trade fair sites with hall space of around 380,000 square meters.
