Visa Service

As announced on the websites of the German diplomatic missions in China, the rapidly increasing demand for visas cannot be met because of staff shortages. Longer waiting times for appointments are expected to continue through 2023.

The difficulty to obtain visas is a major pain point for German companies in China and we tirelessly address this issue with the German Foreign Ministry. All German companies can do at the moment is to submit their request for a visa appointment and accept the long waiting time.

Currently, all Chinese visa types are available to German citizens. Since February 22, travelers are no longer required to present a negativ nucleaic acid test result. Please click here for more information.

We are happy to support you with your visa application. You can reach us via phone or email: Tel: 0086-21-50815579; Email: visainfo.sh(at)china.ahk.de.
