When we think about the future, our minds often wander along the lines of science fiction—through “blade-runner”—inspired decors and futuristic landscapes. Yet the future has already started to take shape with new tech and Artificial Intelligence (AI) acting as one of the main drivers of emerging technologies like big data, robotics, and IoT.
AI is usually looked at with a mix of fear and intrigue, as it has been accelerating rapidly and impacting the future of every industry and individual. In the last decade only, we have witnessed the rise of AI that can independently hold conversations, recognize objects and faces, diagnose diseases, drive cars, paint, write books, or compose music. In the business world, it cut down production times, automated and streamlined processes and tasks, and increased productivity and operational efficiencies. To stay ahead of the curve, companies must incorporate AI and new tech into their business strategies.
