Pinghu Economic-Technological Development Zone

Pinghu Economic-Technological Development Zone (“PEDZ”) was established in 1996 and upgraded to national-level in 2013. PEDZ is located at the intersection of the diamond diagonal of the four major cities: Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, and Ningbo, bordering Shanghai to the north and Hangzhou Bay to the south.

QINGDAO FREE TRADE ZONE · SINO-GERMAN ECOPARK

Qingdao Sino-German Ecopark is located in the northern part of Qingdao West Coast New Area, and it is within China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone Qingdao Area. It is in the west of the Jiaozhou Bay, connecting the eastern and western urban areas of Qingdao. The Park has formulated an industrial development plan combining 3+ major sectors: integrated circuits, life health, intelligent manufacturing, etc.

Taicang City

Taicang is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, located in the Yangtze River Delta, bordering Shanghai and facing the Yangtze River. Today, Taicang has gathered more than 550 German enterprises, becoming one of the regions with the most intensive investment and highest development level of German enterprises in China.

Jiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone

Jiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone covers an area of 65.5 km², including 26.08 sq.km. core area. It was one of the first batches of provincial economic development zones approved by Zhejiang Provincial People’s Government and was upgraded into a national economic and technological development zone by the State Council.

Weihai City

Weihai is located in the easternmost part of Shandong Peninsula, the core of Northeast Asia and Bohai Economic circle; is the closest city of China to South Korea. Weihai is an important production base of fishing gear, tires, carpets, medical polymer products, printers, new materials and so on.

Changzhou Jintan

Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industry Park was established in 2018 with a total area of 27.5 km², located in the west of Changzhou, Jiangsu. SGIP has been one of the ideal investment destinations in China for small- and medium-sized companies from German-speaking countries and regions, and also the platform for Sino-German cultural and educational exchange and bilateral communication.

Changzhou National Hi-tech District

Established in 1992, Changzhou National Hitech District (CND) is among the first group of state-level high-tech zones in China and is also the first national-level district in Changzhou. It covers an area of 508.94 km² with a population of 903,000. The comprehensive strength of CND ranks 3rd in the whole Jiangsu Province. Its GDP in 2024 has reached CNY 220 billion; the total import and export volume has achieved CNY 130 billion.

Kunshan German Industrial Park

Kunshan German Industrial Park was founded in 2005. It is a council member of the Sino-German Advisory Committee on Economy and has been awarded Sino-German (Kunshan) SMEs Cooperation Zone nationwide. In 2023, it was recognized by China Centre for Promotion of SME Development as the first Specialized and Innovative Demonstration Industrial Park (Demonstration) in China.

Sino-German (NCHDZ) Industrial Park, Nanchang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone

The Sino-German (NCHDZ) Industrial Park is situated in the Nanchang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NCHDZ), Jiangxi Province, which is in the southeast of China. With a population of around 600,000, the zone is home to 31,000 enterprises, including 23 Fortune Global 500 companies and 19 listed firms. In 2024, the zone’s GDP reached CNY 106.3 billion.

Sino-German Wuhan International Industrial Park

Located in the southwest of Wuhan, Caidian District is adjacent to the Yangtze River in the south and the Han River in the north. It is one of the birthplaces of the Chu culture and the hometown of the bosom friend culture.

China-Germany High-End Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park in Shenyang

China-Germany High-End Equipment Manufacturing Industry Park in Shenyang (or CGIP) focuses on five pillar industries, namely advanced equipment, intelligent manufacturing, auto and auto parts, industrial services, and strategic emerging industries. In December 2015, the State Council officially approved the construction plan of CGIP, making it the first industrial park approved by the State Council with the theme of China-Germany equipment manufacturing cooperation.

Yanzhou Industrial Park

YANZHOU INDUSTRIAL PARK is located in Yanzhou District of Jining City, one of the ancient nine provinces of China. It sits at a key junction of the Beijing-Shanghai transportation artery and is at the heart of the Lunan Economic Circle in Shandong Province.

China-Germany (Xuchang) Industrial Park

Xuchang, located in central Henan Province, is a key city in the Zhengzhou Metropolitan Area and one of only two national pilot zones for integrated urban-rural development in China. Enterprises such as ALBA Group, Saint- Gobain, Befesa, and XJ Schindler have settled in the industrial park.

Sino-Swiss Zhenjiang Ecological Industrial Park

Born from the harbor and flourished by the Yangtze River, Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone (ZETDZ) was founded in 1992 and upgraded to a national ETDZ in 2010. In the year 2024, local GDP reached CNY 91 billion and GDP per capita was USD 46,800.

National Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area

The Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area (HETDA) was founded in 1993 and recognized by the State Council as a national economic and technological development zone in 2000.

Malu Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park

As the key hub for science and technology in Shanghai, Jiading New Town plays a crucial role in innovation, collaboration, sustainability, openness, and shared growth. Its mission is to integrate technology with industry and urban development, fostering a modern, livable, and business-friendly tech city.

Jiangsu Nantong Su-Xi-Tong Science & Technology Park / China-Austria Sutong Eco-Park

Jiangsu Nantong Su-Xi-Tong Science & Technology Park (Suxitong Park) was established in May 2020, through the merger of 2 previous cooperative parks by Suzhou, Wuxi and Nantong cities, with a total land scale of 100km². The park is a national cooperation between Jiangsu Province and Singapore government starting in 2009.

Changshu National New & Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone

Changshu National New & Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone (CNZ) is in the center of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Belt and was upgraded to a national-level high-tech zone in September 2015 with the approval from the State Council.

National Yangzhou High-tech Industry Development Zone

Yangzhou High-tech Zone is located in the southwest of the main urban area of Yangzhou. It stands at the junction of the Yangtze River and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Being the important gateway to the north bank of the Yangtze River, the Shanghai metropolitan area and the Nanjing economic circle overlap here.

State-level Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area (NETDA)

Nantong is a strategic industrial hub city, ranked among China’s Top 20 GDP players with a CAGR of 6% over the years. Nantong is reasonably close to Shanghai and highly accessible via air, land, water, and bullet train transport, as it is only a 1.5-hour drive up north of the Yangtze River.
