Foshan Sino-German Industrial Services Zone

Covering a planned area of 130 km2, the Foshan Sino-German Industrial Services Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "Services Zone") is located in the eastern part of Foshan and borders Guangzhou.

Qingyang District

Qingyang District is located in the heart of Chengdu City. Chengdu’s 2,300-year history of founding traces its origins to Qingyang District. Since ancient times, it has been Chengdu’s political, economic and cultural center. Named after the famous Qingyang Taoist Temple within its jurisdiction, the district covers an area of 66 square kilometers, with 12 subdistricts, 67 communities and a service population of about 1.24 million.

Zhuhai (National) Hi-Tech Zone

The Zhuhai (National) Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone was established in 1992, and was among the first 54 state-level hi-tech zones approved by the States Council. The Zhuhai (National) Hi-Tech Zone has been committed to building an internationalized, market-oriented and law-based business environment that is stable, fair, transparent and predictable.

Zengcheng Economic and Technological Development Zone

Zengcheng District is one of the 11 administrative districts under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou, covering an area of 1,616 square kilometers, with a permanent population of 1.69 million. Zengcheng serves as a crucial transportation hub, sci-tech innovation center, and growth engine for the advanced manufacturing industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area (GBA).

Pinghu Economic-Technological Development Zone (PEDZ)

Pinghu Economic-Technological Development Zone (PEDZ) located in the core area of the regional integrative strategy of the Yangtze River Delta. Pinghu has 58km border line with Shanghai, and has 27km coastline. It is 7km from Jiashan South Station, 6km from the entrance of Shanghai-Hangzhou Expressway, 72km from Hongqiao Airport, and 100km from Shanghai Pudong International Airport. A 2.4km2 Sino-Germany SME Cooperation Zone in PEDZ approved by MIIT, more than 60 companies have settled in.

Qingdao Sino-German Ecopark

Qingdao Sino-German Ecopark is a demonstration cooperation project for sustainable development directly promoted by the high-levels of the two countries. It enjoys long-term planning with an area of about 35 km2 and is located in both Qingdao West Coast New Area and Qingdao Free Trade Zone.

Taicang City

Taicang is a satellite city of Shanghai, borders directly the Baoshan and Jiading Districts to the South, only 35km away from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and 40 km away from Shanghai downtown. Since the settlement of the first German company Kern-Liebers in 1993, Taicang is now home to more than 387 German companies.

Jiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone

The Jiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone covers an area of 65.5 sq.km., including 26.08 sq.km. core area. It was among one of the first batch of provincial economic development zones approved by Zhejiang Provincial Peoples’s Government, and has been upgraded to national economic and technological development zone approved by the State Council.

Weihai City

Weihai is located in the easternmost part of Shandong Peninsula, the core of Northeast Asia and Bohai Economic circle; is the closest city of China to South Korea. Weihai is an important production base of fishing gear, tires, carpets, medical polymer products, printers, new materials and so on.

Ningbo City

Ningbo lies in the south of the Yangtze River Delta and faces the East China Sea to the east. It covers an area of 9,816 sq.km and has a population of 9.61 million. Converted at the prevailing average annual exchange rate, Ningbo’s GDP in 2022 reached US$224.34 billion, ranking 12th among all Chinese cities.

Changzhou Jintan

Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industry Park (referred to as SGIP hereinafter) was established in 2018 with a total area of 27.5 km², located in the west of Changzhou, Jiangsu. Recently, SGIP has been one of the ideal investment destinations in China for the small and medium-sized companies from German-speaking countries and regions, and also the platform for the exchange of Sino-German cultural, educational and other two-way communication.

Changzhou National Hi-tech District

Established in 1992, Changzhou National Hi-tech District (CND) is among the first group of state-level hi-tech zones in China and is also the first national-level district in Changzhou. It covers an area of 508.94 km2 with a population of 903,000. The comprehensive strength of CND ranks 3rd in the whole Jiangsu Province. Its GDP in 2022 has reached RMB 190 billion; the total import and export volume has achieved RMB 120 billion.

Kunshan German Industrial Park

Kunshan German Industrial Park is a significant platform for European and American investors in the Yangtze River Delta Region. Founded in 2005, Kunshan German Industrial Park (KSGIP) covers an area of 15 square kilometers. It is located in Kunshan, the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta Region and top one of China’s best 100 county-level cities in comprehensive strength. It is one of the first batch of Sino-German SMEs Cooperation Zones and a council member of the Sino-German Advisory Committee on Economy of the Ministry of Commerce.

China Medical City

China Medical City Taizhou City ranks first in terms of output value of the pharmaceutical industry among prefecture-level cities in China. It owns the largest pharmaceutical industry enterprise, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, and has built the China's largest production base of Chinese patent medicines. The shipbuilding completion volume ranks No. 1, accounting for 1/10 of the world, 1/4 of the China, and 1/2 of Jiangsu Province. Taizhou is also the China's largest private shipbuilding base.

Shanghai Bay Area High-tech Industrial Development Zone

Shanghai Bay Area High-tech Industrial Development Zone is located in the geographical center of the Yangtze River Delta region, it is about an hour's drive from all 16 major cities in the region.

JiuJiang National E&T Development Zone

Founded in 1992, JEDZ is located in the southwest of Jiujiang, with a core area of more than 80 square kilometers and a population of about 300,000, as well as more than 500 industrial companies.

Nanchang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone

Sino-German (NCHDZ) Industrial Park is located in Nanchang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone(or NCHDZ), Jiangxi Province.

Sino-German Wuhan International Industrial Park

Located in the southwest of Wuhan, Caidian District is adjacent to the Yangtze River in the south and the Han River in the north. It is one of the birthplaces of the Chu culture and the hometown of the bosom friend culture.

China-Germany (Shenyang) Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park

The China-Germany Industrial Park (CGIP) became the first strategic platform approved by the State Council with the theme of Sino-German cooperation in the high-end equipment manufacturing industry in China.

Yanzhou Industrial Park

The Yanzhou Industrial Park is situated in the Yanzhou District of Jining - one of nine states of ancient China. It is at a key node of the Beijing-Shanghai transportation artery as well as the central zone of the Lunan Economic Circle firmly supported by Shandong province.

China-Germany (Xuchang) Industrial Park

The China-Germany (Xuchang) Industrial Park includes six parts: China-Germany (Europe) Recycled Metal Eco-City, North Area of Jian’an District Industrial Park, South Area of Jian’an District Industrial Park, East Extension District of Central Plain Electrical Valley, Bonded Logistics Center and Southwest Park of Economic Development Zone Industrial Park.

Sino-Swiss Zhenjiang Ecological Industrial Park/ZETDZ

Born from the harbor and flourished by the Yangtze River, the Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone/ZETDZ was founded in 1992 and upgraded to a national ETDZ in 2010. In the year of 2021, local GDP reached RMB 77.6bn and total import and export volume stood at USD 4 bn.

Changzhi Economic and Technological Development Zone

The Changzhi Economic and Technological Development Zone was founded in September 2017 upon government approval, subsequently enjoying the status of a provincial-level economic and technological development zone.

Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone

Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone (National) is located on the western side of Ganzhou, with 6 townships, a Comprehensive Bonded Zone and a High-speed Rail New District under its administration. The total population is 380,000. In 2022, it was ranked 31st in the Comprehensive Evaluation of National Economic and Technological Development Zone, and 6th in the central region.

Yingtan High-tech Industrial Development Zone

The Yingtan National High-tech Industrial Development Zone is located in the southwest of Yingtan. It covers an area of 43 square kilometers, of which 28 square kilometers being designated for development. There are more than 600 enterprises, including more than 300 industrial enterprises that employ more than 15,000 industrial workers.

Chuzhou National Economic and Technological Development Zone

The Chuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone was established in June 1992 and approved as a national development zone in April 2011. With a planning area of 100 square kilometers, it has a built-up area of about 70 square kilometers, and a permanent resident population of nearly 160,000.

National Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area

The Hefei Economic and Technological Development Area (HETDA) was founded in 1993 and recognized by the State Council as a national economic and technological development zone in 2000.

Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone

The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone (Hefei High-tech Zone) was in the first batch of State-level high-tech zones ratified by the State Council in 1991.

Sino-German (Xuzhou) Innovation Industry

The Sino-German (Xuzhou) Innovation Industrial Park is a foreign investment gathering area and innovation pilot area of the state-level Xuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a planned area of 15.3 square kilometers, focusing on the development of four strategic emerging industries, including high-end equipment manufacturing, biomedicine and health, new energy and new materials, integrated circuits and ICT.

Harbin New Area

The planned area is 493 square kilometers, with a population of ca. 800,000. It is the only national new area in China with the theme of cooperation with Northeast Asia. Relying on the new area, high-tech Zone, economic development zone, innovation demonstration zone and Songbei District, the zone has the unique advantages and vitality of “six zone policy superposition” development.

Malu Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park

The construction land areas of the two plots are 33394.2 square meters and 29062.9 square meters respectively, with a total construction land area of 62457.1 square meters.

Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA)

Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area ("Beijing E-Town", BDA) was established in 1992. On August 25, 1994, BDA was approved by the State Council as the only national economic and technological development zone in Beijing as well as the "One Industrial Zone" in the Beijing "Three Cities and One Zone" initiative (three science cities: Zhongguancun Science City, Huairou Science City, Changping Future Science City) which serves as the main platform for building Beijing into the national science and technology innovation center.

Jiaxing economic and technological development zone is located in jiaxing city downtown area, is a typical city development zone, founded in August 1992, is the first batch of zhejiang provincial government approved by the provincial economic development zone, in March 2010, upgraded to state-level economic and technological development zone by the state council for approval.
