Changzhou National Hi-tech District

Established in 1992, Changzhou National Hitech District (CND) is among the first group of state-level high-tech zones in China and is also the first national-level district in Changzhou. It covers an area of 508.94 km² with a population of 903,000. The comprehensive strength of CND ranks 3rd in the whole Jiangsu Province. Its GDP in 2024 has reached CNY 220 billion; the total import and export volume has achieved CNY 130 billion.

It is a council member of the Sino-German Advisory Committee on Economy and has been awarded Sino-German (Kunshan) SMEs Cooperation Zone nationwide. The Sino-German (NCHDZ) Industrial Park is situated in the Nanchang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NCHDZ), Jiangxi Province, which is in the southeast of China. With a population of around 600,000, the zone is home to 31,000 enterprises, including 23 Fortune Global 500 companies and 19 listed firms. In 2024, the zone’s GDP reached CNY 106.3 billion.

China-Germany High-End Equipment Manufacturing Industry Park in Shenyang (or CGIP) focuses on five pillar industries, namely advanced equipment, intelligent manufacturing, auto and auto parts, industrial services, and strategic emerging industries. In December 2015, the State Council officially approved the construction plan of CGIP, making it the first industrial park approved by the State Council with the theme of China-Germany equipment manufacturing cooperation.
