How we empower German companies in China
Engaging our community with events
We host approximately 100 events each year, attracting around 4,000 attendees throughout South & Southwest China. Our events range from social gatherings such as the Octoberfest, Cologne Carnival Party, and Stammtisch, to larger ones like the Sino-German Economic Forum, HR Summit, and Xplore China. These events serve as excellent opportunities for our members to connect with others and cultivate meaningful relationships.
Additionally, our community-focused events, including roundtable discussions and factory visits, provide a platform for like-minded individuals to exchange knowledge and gain valuable insights. Participation in our events enables you to stay current on industry developments, learn from subject matter experts, and potentially establish lucrative business partnerships.
Supporting members with Government Affairs & Advocacy
Our Government Affairs & Advocacy team is committed to promoting a fair and equitable business environment for German enterprises in China. We offer practical, on-site assistance to our members to navigate the regulatory landscape. In addition, we provide exclusive policy briefings to keep our members informed.
We regularly engage with Chinese local governments on matters of importance to Sino-German trade and relations, and advocate for our members' interests, including issues such as the New Preferential IIT Policy for Foreign Talents in the Greater Bay Area. We also provide support to German companies facing specific government affairs challenges, such as power outages that impact business operations in Southwest China.
Gain exclusive insights with our publications
The German Chamber provides a variety of informative publications that offer valuable insights into the business environment in China. Our surveys and reports capture business sentiment and can be utilized to inform strategic decision-making.
One of our most sought-after publications is the exclusive Labor Market & Salary Report, which provides comprehensive coverage of wage developments and offers detailed analysis of industry trends, regional data, company size, and other crucial factors. This report serves as an essential benchmark for businesses operating in China.
