The conference brings together thousands of business leaders, corporate executives, and international institution representatives to engage in strategic dialogues on bilateral economic cooperation, accelerate market expansion in China, and foster deeper trade and investment ties between the two nations.
Since their launch, the X-Days have successfully held three sessions in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing. The event has established a multifaceted platform. Thanks to its strategic expertise and tangible outcomes, the X-Days have gained high-level recognition and active engagement from stakeholders across China and Germany, particularly within the business community.
The 2025 AHK Greater China Xceleration Days will take place in Suzhou from November 19 to 21, 2025. This session will continue to focus on cutting-edge technology trends and industry developments, gathering heavyweight guests from the Sino-German business community to explore new opportunities and pathways for economic and trade cooperation.
Suzhou, a national historical and cultural city, has grown to become a central city in the Yangtze River Delta region. Covering an area of 8,657.3 sq km. It has five districts, namely Wujiang, Wuzhong, Xiangcheng, Gusu, and Huqiu, four county-level cities, Zhangjiagang, Changshu, Taicang, and Kunshan, as well as Suzhou Industrial Park. As of the end of 2023, Suzhou had a population of 7.862 million registered households and 12.958 million permanent residents.
With a history of more than 2,500 years, Suzhou still maintains the pattern of “parallel land and water, adjacent to rivers and streets” and the unique style of “small bridges, running water, and homes”. Nine classical gardens represented by the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Suzhou section of the Grand Canal with the ancient city of Suzhou at its core are on the World Cultural Heritage List, and seven items, including the Kunqu Opera and the Biluochun production technique, are on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
As one of the cities in China with the largest industrial volume, the most comprehensive supporting facilities, and the strongest vertical integration capability, Suzhou boasts three industries with an annual output of more than one trillion yuan, namely electronic information, high-end equipment, and advanced materials, as well as three national-level advanced manufacturing clusters for new nanomaterials, biomedicine and high-end medical devices, and high-end textiles. Suzhou is coordinating efforts to upgrade traditional industries, develop emerging industries, and foster future-oriented industries, aiming to become an important front for the development of the so-called new quality productive forces. The total output value of industrial enterprises above a designated size topped 4.7 trillion yuan in 2024. The output value of high-tech industries accounted for 54.7% of the city's total industrial output.
From November 19-21, 2025, the X-Days will convene in Suzhou - a city where the timeless Grand Canal flows alongside China’s most robust industrial ecosystems. Against the backdrop of Suzhou’s trillion-yuan industrial clusters and the complementary strengths of both nations, this event will unite German and Chinese businesses to explore emerging opportunities and drive sustainable growth.
We cordially invite you to join us in Suzhou, where tradition meets transformation, and partnerships forge progress.
