Kunshan German Industrial Park
Kunshan German Industrial Park is a significant platform for European and American investors in the Yangtze River Delta Region. Founded in 2005, Kunshan German Industrial Park (KSGIP) covers an area of 15 square kilometers. It is located in Kunshan, the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta Region and top one of China’s best 100 county-level cities in comprehensive strength. West of Shanghai and east of Suzhou, KSGIP is very close to the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway and Beijing-Shanghai Expressway. It is one of the first batch of Sino-German SMEs Cooperation Zones and a council member of the Sino-German Advisory Committee on Economy of the Ministry of Commerce.
KSGIP has completed 200,000 square meters of standard workshops in a high standard and professional way to satisfy the demands of German companies. The “whole process” service mode of incubation, accelerated development, built-to-suit plants and land for self-construction is adopted to attract German investors. At present, the total number of European and American enterprises is 192, among which 102 are German enterprises including KHS Einhell and Eisenmann. There are 7 Fortune Global 500 companies in KSGIP. Based on the three tens of billions of leading industries - Smart Manufacturing, High-end Food, Trade & Logistic, German Industrial Park is also aiming at biomedical and artificial intelligence sectors, and establishing a “3+2+X” new industry development system.
Meanwhile, KSGIP keeps building standard workshops of high quality annually to provide platforms for German enterprises. It has established cooperation with official organizations such as the German Consulate and non-governmental organizations to host events, for instance family day and beer festival. There are frequent exchanges between China and Germany including cooperation between Chinese and German enterprises, dual system training of skilled personnel and visits by German universities. In the coming years, KSGIP is expected to become an industrial park with clustering of German companies, beautiful environment and successful Sino-German cooperation.

Kunshan German Industrial Park Green Business Incubator (Startup Factory)
The Green Business Incubator is a cooperation between Zhangpu Government and Startup Factory (Kunshan) Co., Ltd. The total construction area is 30,000 square meters. The incubator mainly targets European and American small and medium sized companies and provides support resources and services including recruitment, part and spares purchase, order management, technical support, accounting and intermediary services. Forty German companies have started their operations since 2012.
Industry Park Phase IV_Acceleration Zone
The project site of KSGIP Acceleration Zone has a land area of about 120 mu and the construction space is about 100,000 square meters. It has high-quality science and technology buildings and standard workshops for Euro-American and German-invested enterprises, science and technology R&D projects, and provides accelerated development space for the successfully developed enterprises incubated in the GIP Green Business Incubator.
