Logistics planners often face a variety of planning tasks along the supply chain, such as inbound transportation, material flow, warehousing, layout planning or packaging planning. In this workshop we present seven logistics planning tools which are most useful for logistics planners in tackling any logistics problem they might encounter. Besides being practically useful, by applying the tools, the participants deepen their understanding of the complexity of logistics by optimising various criteria such as lead times, inventory levels, or space requirements.
