Casino Night 2017

Experiencing a magical night in the atmosphere of rolling dices, enchanting acts and thrilling tricks until the sun rises again – the 17th German Ball, hosted in good old tradition by the German Chamber of Commerce in North China at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing attracted about 750 guests with its ‘Casino Night’ theme.

This year’s German Ball, organized only shortly after our 20 Year’s Anniversary, constituted a second highlight of a vivid year for the German Chamber of Commerce in Beijing.

The ballroom’s graceful atmosphere on 18th November 2017 was accompanied by mingling show girls, fascinating magicians and marvelous musical entertainment, rounding off an exciting setting.

Las Vegas-alike looking show girls welcomed and entertained the ball guests during the reception, as they enjoyed their first cocktails and canapes. A fascinating Couple-Burlesque show opened the ball’s entertainment program, taking the audience back into the 20th century.

After that atmospheric opening, the welcome speeches given by Ms. Alexandra Voss, Executive Director of the German Chamber of Commerce in China | North China and Delegate & Chief Representative of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce Beijing, and Mr. Lothar Herrmann, Chairman of the German Chamber of Commerce in China | North China and CEO Siemens Greater China, President and CEO of Siemens Ltd., China officially commenced the German Ball 2017.

While the guests enjoyed the exclusive gala dinner by Kempinski Executive Chef Michael Kreiling, the Dunshan Symphonic Wind Orchestra enchanted the audience with their harmonic classical sounds and the dance floor was filled with dancing couples.

As the “Casino Night” progressed, the audience was thrilled by the Magician’s grand illusions and mind-blowing effects.

The wide variety of drinks offered at the open bars and the sophisticated and extraordinary dessert buffet in the foyer invited the guests to mingle together with colleagues and friends, while the midnight buffet and the coffee bar were much appreciated by all those, who had needed a break before they danced the night away with the passionate and outstanding Band “Lounge Society” from Germany and the vibrant beats of the DJ “Jean-Marc”.

German Ball Impressions

During the past few months we have put our heart into the organization and success of this evening.

The German Ball wouldn’t be possible without the help of many committed people. Therefore, we would like to thank everyone, who helped making the “Casino Night” possible: all our faithful and generous diamond, silver and gold sponsors, door gift sponsors and partners. Special thanks to the dedicated team at Kempinski as well as the devoted German Ball committee. Last but not least we thank all of our members and guests. It is because of you that this outstanding event exists and we are grateful for your appreciation and support. We look forward to seeing you next year at the German Ball 2018.

Special thanks to the sponsors for the German Ball 2017:
