The German Chamber of Commerce
The German Chamber of Commerce in China is the official member organization which represents German companies doing business in China. The German Chamber helps its members succeed by providing up-to-date market information and practical advice. It offers a platform for the Sino-German business community and represents its member's interests towards stakeholders including governmental and public stakeholders. The Chamber was founded in 1999 and currently has around 2.600 members in mainland China.
The German Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong is one of the largest foreign chambers in Hong Kong. It provides a wide range of services to its more than 500 members, and serves as a forum for networking, business development and opportunities in Hong Kong, mainland China and Germany. It represents its member's interests at government committees such as the International Business committee (IBC) and others. Members in Hong Kong also benefit from representation at the European Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong and ties with the German Chamber of Commerce in China.
